Sinch is looking for an energetic, tech-savvy, and creative Director of Sales. You’ll be joining our exceptional sales team to make a huge impact in a fun and exciting company with significant growth potential. As a Sales Leader, you’ll be instrumental in building good sales operations, mentoring, and recruiting highly talented sales executives, and ensuring Sinch meets its sales goals on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis. Sinch has a fast-growing customer base who range from startups to enterprises, spanning a multitude of verticals.

Responsibilities

  • Build an operationally excellent sales organization ready to scale in a high growth environment.
  • Mentor your sellers ensuring they can navigate the multifaceted sourcing process of companies regardless of size and industry.
  • Lead a high-velocity sales motion to achieve a team quota
  • Ensure the Sales team retains a high ratio of lead to pipe/close
  • Understand how to track, display, and analyze pipeline data sets in order to increase deal size, close rate, and time to close
  • Represent the sales department’s goals and obtainment via a board presentation
  • Be the voice of customers, advocate for their needs and collaborate cross-functionally to inform the product roadmap
  • Identify and implement ways to improve our processes, tools, and materials to enhance the customer experience
  • Assist marketing with testing, execution and reporting on lead quality

Requirements

  • 5+ years of management experience, with a minimum of 3 being in a senior sales leadership position
  • 7+ years sales experience (SaaS preferred).
  • Highly collaborative, proactive, curious, self-starter, and always interested in learning.
  • Clear communicator and effective problem-solving skills – especially over the phone.
  • Extremely organized
  • Skilled in virtual presentations, online webinars, and remote troubleshooting.
  • Ability to build professional and trusting relationships with customers and other Sinch leaders.
  • Technical aptitude and experience selling to developers and marketers.
  • Works well on a small team and across departments in a fast-paced startup-like environment.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and tasks simultaneously.
  • Technical aptitude and curiosity for innovation.
  • Experience with Salesforce
  • 4+ year Bachelor’s degree strongly preferred.

The annual starting salary for this position ranges between $100,000 - $150,000 USD. Factors which may affect starting pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience, and other qualifications. This position is eligible for commissions in accordance with the terms of the Company’s plan. Commissions for this position are estimated to be $100,000 annually and are based on performance.
