We are looking for a Senior Product Marketing Manager to join our Community Experience organization, supporting our core consumer experience products. The mission of the Community Experience team is to empower anyone to easily participate and belong on Reddit. And the core consumer experience is the holistic experience through which users discover and engage with relevant conversations and communities. It includes all the major surfaces including the feed, the video player, and the comments page. This PMM will be responsible for launching new consumer experiences by influencing product strategy, owning the go-to-market motion and working with cross-functional teams to drive usage and adoption.

This is a 6 month contract position

Responsibilities:

  • Lead inbound and outbound Product Marketing for our core experience products (eg. past projects include launching new feeds to consume content on Reddit) and creating meaningful feature bundles that connect users to the value of Reddit
  • Be a trusted partner with Product, Research, Data Science, International and Community teams
  • Make the core experience easy to understand for target audiences, from driving insights and segmentation to inform future directions, all the way to launching feature bundles, marketing campaigns and feedback loops
  • Help shape the core experience product and go-to-market strategy, including positioning, narratives, goals, and experiences using research, data and market insights
  • Create and drive marketing plans spanning multiple channels and cross-functional teams

Qualifications:

  • 6+ years of experience in marketing, growth marketing, product management, or strategy/consultant roles
  • 2+ years of experience in Product Marketing or Product Management in consumer product
  • Experience in developing consumer messaging and messaging for global product launches
  • Has the ability to understand product growth, extract user insights and formulate product strategy aligned to user problems and desired business outcomes
  • Great communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to manage creative and technical cross-functional teams through complex launches
  • Demonstrated ability to create strong product marketing and creative briefs
  • Capacity to deliver in fast-paced environments and has a high tolerance for change
  • Strong project management and copywriting experience
