The team

This is a temporary 3 month contract. As Kraken continues to expand, we’re looking for an Internal Communications and Employer Brand Manager to help our employees - aka Krakenites - stay informed and engaged – and to help us attract and retain amazing crypto talent. With the many exciting things happening at Kraken and the fast pace at which the company and wider crypto industry is developing, this is the perfect role for an ambitious and talented communications and brand professional.

In this remote based and contract position, you’ll help drive our internal communications & employer brand strategy, working with teams across the company to ensure a successful execution. Your responsibilities will include keeping Krakenites all over the world informed about our mission and strategy, launching new programs and initiatives, and bringing our culture and values to life through Krakenite storytelling.

Reporting to our Global Director of Internal Communications, you’ll also work closely with our Talent Acquisition, external Communications and Marketing teams to help shape and execute our Employer Brand strategy.

Join our mighty Communications team of talented professionals as we work together to accelerate the adoption of cryptocurrency so that everyone can achieve financial freedom and inclusion.

The Opportunity

  • Plan, write and edit content to keep Krakenites informed of company updates

  • Produce and promote employee-focused content, including Krakenite interviews and features, videos and internal messages.

  • Collaborate with Communications, HR and the broader leadership team to drive employee engagement as the company continues to grow.

  • Support the execution of our employer brand and EVP, positioning Kraken as a crypto employer of choice

Skills you should HODL

  • You have 8+ years of experience in an internal communications role. It’s a plus if you’ve worked within crypto or the wider Fintech industry before and if you have experience with Employer Branding.

  • Creative and compelling storyteller and communicator with strong executive presence

  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills

  • Strong strategic and operational approach with the ability to organize and manage complex projects, campaigns, and change strategies

  • You have a Bachelors in communications, public relations, journalism or equivalent field

  • You’re intrigued by the possibilities of crypto and a believer in the impact of Kraken and our mission
