SEO / Digital Marketing Strategist (Account Management, SEO)

Keynote: 100% Remote Role, must live in the United States

Salary Level: $50,000 - $65,000/year base + monthly incentive program (estimated at an additional $15k per year)

As a member of a small, autonomous, and high-performing account team, the Digital Marketing Strategist plays a crucial role in creating measurable results for the team’s managed clients. The DMS is responsible for understanding the client's business goals, developing strategy, and facilitating the development of high-quality deliverables to accomplish these goals. The DMS will effectively build a trusted, long-term relationship with the team’s managed clients.

We are looking for an experienced Digital Marketer with SEO experience.

Core Responsibilities

• Developing SEO strategies
• Analyzing SEO performance
• Meeting with clients and responding quickly to client communication
• Developing and managing positive client relationships
• Managing SEO contractors & QCing SEO work
• Reading and interpreting client data to measure results
• Analyzing data in Google Analytics & tools like SEMRush
• Analyzing & synthesizing information from Technical SEO crawls
• Communicating critical information between clients, teams, and project management resources

Desired Skills

• Previous agency experience
• Strong, real-world experience in digital marketing & social media
• Account management or client-facing experience
• Previous experience managing third-party resources and/or contractors
• Familiarity with industry-standard tools such as SEMRush, crawl tools, GSC, etc.
• Desire to work in a flexible, fast-paced environment
• Strong communication skills
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively with internal and external teams
• Interest in new technologies and staying up to date on industry trends

Requirements

• Minimum two years experience with SEO
• Minimum 1-year client-facing experience, ideally in a marketing agency

Not required skills, but any of these would be a huge plus!

• Experience managing freelancers
