We Are Looking For:

Do you have a keen eye for spotting opportunities to engage and retain customers through strategic messaging? We're seeking a Growth Marketing Intern who thrives on optimizing customer experiences at every touchpoint. You have a solid understanding of both results-driven lifecycle strategies and strong writing principles. You are always keeping an eye on what is trending in the world of email, SMS and push notification marketing. You thrive in a culture that celebrates tactical creativity, balancing art and science to create campaigns that are both engaging and effective. You are detail-oriented, organized and enthusiastic about learning new skills, platforms, strategies and writing. You must love start-up culture, feel energized by team-oriented environments, and have an all-hands-on-deck attitude.

You Will Get To:

  • Be responsible for planning, creating, and managing engaging marketing campaigns to drive key actions across various touch points (email, SMS, in-app, etc)
  • Work closely with the Lifecycle Marketing Manager inside email marketing, SMS and Push Notifications platforms such as Iterable, Klaviyo, OneSignal, Braze and more.
  • Help optimize the Lifecycle team’s processes and collaborate in new ideation & opportunities for workflow efficiency.
  • Work with cross-functional teams, including paid social, ppc, and SEO in order to unlock additional opportunities to drive value for clients.
  • Develop and execute A/B tests to optimize campaign performance and drive improvements in conversion rates and engagement metrics.
  • Participate in the creative development process, from brainstorming campaign ideas to reviewing and providing feedback on creative assets.
  • Gain hands-on experience with customer segmentation, targeting strategies, and personalization techniques to enhance customer journeys and lifecycle value.
  • Learn to use analytics and marketing automation tools to set up, monitor, and analyze campaign performances and customer journeys.
  • Contribute to the development of lifecycle marketing strategies that align with business goals and customer needs, under the guidance of experienced marketing professionals.

You Have:

  • Familiarity with at least 1 email marketing platform, such as Klaviyo, Mailchimp, Braze, Drip, Active Campaign, etc.
  • Familiarity with the SMS and/or Push Notification marketing field.
  • Strong analytical skills with an ability to interpret data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with an aptitude for crafting compelling marketing messages.
  • A proactive attitude and eagerness to learn new technologies, strategies, and industry best practices in lifecycle marketing.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment, contributing to collaborative projects and sharing insights with colleagues.
  • Basic understanding of marketing principles.
  • Creative thinking and problem-solving skills, with a willingness to experiment and take on new challenges.
  • Time management and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
  • Proficiency in Google Workspace, and the ability to quickly learn new software and tools.

Compensation: $16/hour
