⚡️ Your mission

As Birdie’s resident Growth Content Manager, your mission is to create and deliver the content that turns Birdie’s engaged audience of prospects into fully-fledged customers!

You’ll be working as part of the Growth team, you’ll be worked across our demand creation and demand capture strategies to make sure that every touchpoint we have has copy that’s powerful and impactful.

🦸‍♀️ How you will contribute

  • Creating engaging content that helps our audience understand that Birdie can solve their challenges - you’ll turn your hand to short-form content such as videos, as well as long-form, data-driven publications such as technology impact reports.

  • In partnership with our Growth and Product Marketing teams, owning the copy on the website in order to increase conversion rates

  • Owning our SEO activity, leveraging freelancer support in order to create and deliver on a strategy that ensures Birdie ranks for the right keywords with content that delivers high engagement

  • Creating email marketing programmes that nurture our audiences to conversion

  • Partnering closely with our Performance Marketing Manager to create landing page copy that drives conversion, and ad copy that’s on-message and high-performing

  • Working closely with your Content Marketing counterpart in Education and Community to ensure that our audiences go through a seamless journey according to their interests and buyer intent

🤩 We’d love to hear from you if

  • You have 3+ years experience as a copywriter or content marketer in a B2B environment - SaaS experience is ideal, but not essential

  • You’re an excellent copywriter, able to match and create a tone of voice, in both long-form and short-form content, adapting successfully to nuances of channel, format and audience in order to drive outcomes. In other words, you can write an article to convince the CEO of a multi-million pound business that their real challenge is data security but you can also write a script for a one-minute video that tells an entrepreneur how care management tools work.

  • You have flawless attention to detail and can spot a typo from a mile away.

  • You have experience with email marketing and are confident in managing its KPIs and performance

  • You have experience in video content (you don’t need to be able to shoot and edit, but we’d love for you to be able to storyboard and write scripts!)

  • You have experience with SEO strategies and optimising content in order to rank

  • You’re comfortable using CMS tools in order to update website copy

  • You actively relish interacting and learning from stakeholders and customers, and can turn those learnings into high-quality content

  • You enjoy working largely independently, and also in a collaborative team-oriented environment

  • You have strong organisational skills and proven ability to manage time-critical projects (planning, scheduling, monitoring), working with internal and external resources

  • Bonus if you’re good with Hubspot!
