Your Mission:

We are seeking an experienced Paid Search Manager to help us scale our paid marketing activities across the Jimdo Media Channels. As our Paid Search Manager you will report into our Performance Marketing Lead, and will be responsible for planning and driving our Paid Search strategy and optimizing channel performance to drive ROI.

What you’ll be doing:

  • You’ll develop a comprehensive paid search strategy aligned with our business goals, target audience and brand guidelines.
  • You’ll conduct thorough keyword research, competitive analysis and market trends evaluation to identify opportunities and areas for iteration.
  • You’ll manage paid search campaigns, developing ad copy and creative assets, and monitoring and adjusting performance levers for best ROI.
  • You’ll allocate the paid media budget effectively across channels, providing recommendations for budget adjustments based on performance data and anticipated market changes.
  • You’ll regularly analyze campaign performance data, utilizing tools such as Google Analytics and our internal database, to apply data-driven insights to refine campaigns and achieve performance targets.
  • You’ll work collaboratively and cross-functionally to establish growth strategies and support all ongoing paid media efforts and initiatives, including with external partners.
  • You’ll develop and execute a robust testing framework to drive continuous improvement in campaign performance.

What you bring to the table:

  • A minimum of 2-3 years experience in a similar role, ideally in a high-growth, subscription-based company.
  • Experience in executing campaigns across multiple countries and languages.
  • An analytical, data-driven way of working and the versatility to use different tools you need to do your job.
  • Detail-oriented, and thrives in a dynamic, ambiguous, fast-paced, and cross-functional working environment.
  • Understanding best practices and industry-related compliance laws.
  • Strong technical understanding of online media and paid search trends.
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management & interpersonal skills.
  • Fluency in English, with at least B2 in German.
