Marketing Lead

Nexus Mutual offers a range of coverage options, including smart contract cover, which protects against losses due to flaws in smart contracts, and custody cover, which provides protection for assets held in third-party custody services. The platform also offers governance cover, which protects against losses due to governance decisions made by decentralized autonomous organizations (DAOs). We are seeking a Head of Marketing, to lead the development and execution of our growth ambitions. The ideal candidate will be performance-oriented and have a strong track record of growing top-of-funnel metrics. They will be responsible for setting the strategic direction for marketing, developing and executing marketing growth plans, and owning the Nexus Mutual website and brand.

As our Head of Marketing, you will most probably:

• Set strategic marketing direction, near and long-term objectives, plus the success metrics for growth
• Develop and execute marketing growth plans specific to particular products (Native Protocol Cover, Protocol Cover, Slashing Cover, D&O Cover). The goal is to increase top-of-funnel leads.
• Own Nexus Mutual website and brand, and online presence.
• Own analytics on our platform plus website, and feedback on main points into product design/development
• Coordinate the creation of marketing assets for particular campaigns etc (eg images, video, etc), collaborating cross-functionally with our BD, Engineering, Marketing, and Senior Leadership
• Own social media strategy and execution.

• Strong understanding of Direct Marketing, Lead Generation, and Top-Funnel Growth
• Strong experience with go-to-market strategies and initiatives, across different industries and domains
• Experience with building user persona and targeting approaches
• Ability to understand metrics and align them with business outcomes.
• Ability to think through customer acquisition funnel and establish interaction points
• Proven experience in a leadership role, in a high-growth organization
• Strong understanding of DeFi and the cryptocurrency industry
