Marketing Operations Manager.

If you've worked in B2B Marketing for a couple of years and you know your way around Hubspot, you could be the person we're looking for. 

Our recent acquisition by IDP makes this a great time to join The Ambassador Platform: we'll continue to operate fully independently like we always have, but with more funds and resources to take the business to the next level. For Marketing, this means expanding the team to get on top of our marketing data and use Hubspot at its full potential to increase the quality of our leads and conversions across the marketing funnel. 

To achieve this you'll be given plenty of autonomy, and get to choose whether you want to work from home, or from our office around the corner from Kings' Cross (with the exception of our monthly Company Day, when we all meet at the HQ for a day of workshops and a dinner or games). 

You'll be part of a growing team of three (soon to be five!) alongside our Head of Marketing, Giulia, and our Marketing Manager, Madalina, helping the rest of the Commercial Team build the sales pipeline with high-quality leads and keep our (many) customers happy once those deals are signed.

As the business is already on track to achieve its ambitious growth targets, you'll get many opportunities to make your mark and grow alongside it - on our side, we'll make sure you have everything you need to develop, whether it's access to courses, coaching, or ongoing development conversations.

  • Location: UK - one day a month in the London office
  • Salary:  £40 to £50K base -  DOE  
    • 10% quarterly bonus dependant on experience   
  • Start date: ASAP / July 1st

The Ambassador Platform is peer-to-peer marketing and student recruitment platform for Higher Ed providers. It allows universities and colleges to connect prospective students with their ambassadors via chats, user-generated content, and video.

The impact is pretty cool, and means that, for the first time ever, Higher Ed providers have a simple solution for making the kind of student connections that mean that they can show what life at their institution is really like, helping prospective students make the best choice for their future.

A bit more about the job:

  • Owning Hubspot and prospect data. You'll manage our Marketing and Sales database, from segmentation to “housekeeping” data hygiene, and keep the Marketing, Sales and Customer Success teams updated on best practices.
  • Owning the management of email campaigns across the funnel, forms, landing pages and lead nurturing (we're looking to implement a lead scoring system soon).
  • Developing our Martech stack as the company grows, based on our commercial strategy and long term needs. You'll manage integrations with other tools in our tech stack, and make sure they all talk to each other.
  • Manage our website (also via Hubspot), with a view of improving conversion rates and drive more traffic, and lead on a major redesign a few months down the line.
  • Help the Head of Marketing report on campaign and marketing performance, making proactive recommendations on tweaks and improvements.

 Requirements:

  • 2-3 years of experience, ideally in B2B. Start-up and scale-up alumni welcome!
  • You have experience using Hubspot to support Sales and Marketing (email, landing pages, forms, automation).
  • Have a strong understanding of the marketing funnel, from awareness to advocacy.
  • Data driven, analytical thinker who's strong in setting processes. 
  • Comfortable with a start-up environment, where things can change quickly and some processes are still work-in-progress.
