Senior Technical Project Manager - Lifecycle Marketing

Outliant is currently looking for a full-time Senior Technical Project Manager - Lifecycle Marketing. Grow and learn from other world-class designers, engineers, and entrepreneurs on our team! Seniority Level: Mid-Senior Level

The Senior Technical Project Manager for Lifecycle Marketing is responsible for overseeing the planning, execution, and delivery of technical projects related to marketing initiatives aimed at engaging customers throughout their lifecycle. The role requires a deep understanding of marketing automation, software development, customer segmentation, and strong project management skills. 

Responsibilities:

• Lead the planning and execution of technical projects related to lifecycle marketing initiatives, such as platform migrations, email marketing campaigns, personalized content delivery, marketing automation, and customer segmentation

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, product, and engineering, to ensure project requirements are clearly defined and executed to meet business goals

• Define project timelines, milestones, and deliverables, and manage project budgets and resources to ensure successful project delivery

• Manage project risks and issues, identify and mitigate potential obstacles that could impact project timelines or success

• Communicate project status and progress to stakeholders, including executive leadership, marketing teams, and project team members, and facilitate decision-making and issue resolution

• Ensure project documentation is complete, including project plans, status reports, change requests, and other project-related documentation

• Stay current on industry trends and best practices related to marketing automation, customer segmentation, and data analytics, and incorporate new ideas and innovations into project planning and execution

• Develop processes and procedures that allow for repeatable project completions that deliver a high level of service to the customer

• A relatively high level of autonomy with upward mobility into a team lead role. This candidate will need to come up with repeatable processes and procedures to ensure success for client deliverables

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, computer science, or a related field (a big plus!)

• 5+ years of experience in technical project management, preferably in the context of marketing automation and lifecycle marketing.

• Strong understanding of marketing automation tools such as Iterable, Braze, or Klaviyo, as well as experience with customer segmentation and data analytics.

• Strong project management skills, including experience managing complex projects with multiple stakeholders and teams.

• Excellent communication skills, including the ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.

• Strong technical skills. Experience as a Developer, Solutions Architect, or completion of a coding bootcamp would be an asset.

• Full-time availability (40 hours/week).
