Reporting to the SEO Manager, the Search Engine Optimization Strategist will manage daily aspects and search engine optimization of QVC.com across search engines. You will be the daily SEO contact, managing strategy set forth by the SEO manager and communicate results based on search engine optimization strategy and best practices for the Developers, Product Managers and other counterparts. You will work from our Qurate Retail Group headquarters, located in West Chester, PA.

Your Impact

  • Maintain the integrity of the search engine results for QVC.com web properties while partnering with agency partnerships.
  • Write IT project requirements and ensure new site enhancements meet with SEO best practices and further search engine optimization.
  • Perform research and analyses related to our site and competitors’ sites, and how these sites rank on Google.
  • Provide reporting and feedback on findings and make recommendations to improve results.
  • Partner with IT, eCommerce, Taxonomy, Copywriters and multiple teams to boost search results through cohesive SEO activities.

What You Bring

  • You will have 3+ years of experience in technical SEO, web analytics, search engine algorithms, keyword research as it relates to organic search results for an ecommerce site.
  • You will identify trends in organic search, technical issues with the site about SEO and develop strategies for optimizing results.
  • You have technical, analytical, and soft skills to be accountable and lead.
  • You have expert understanding of Google Search Console.
  • You have some light experience in SEO crawling tools such as Botify, Screaming Frog or Lumar. This is not a must have.
  • Bonus Experience using keyword reporting platforms such as semRush, BrightEdge or Conductor to identify issues and opportunities.
  • Knowledge of analytics platforms such as Google Analytics, Acoustic, Adobe Analytics or similar application to track business measurements, and then use Google Search Console to troubleshoot issues on an ongoing basis.
  • Bonus Knowledge of HTML/proper use of HTML markup and JavaScript as it relates to SEO and knowledge of CSS.
  • Identify QVC trends that can be parlayed into success on major search engines.
  • Understanding of schema markup, link strategies and Core Web Vitals.
  • You will diagnose technical issues like broken links, redirect chains and other errors.
