Our New Business Sales team is responsible for bringing in some of the most exciting new customers to 1Password. As a Sales Executive, your primary responsibility will be to work with prospective clients to understand their requirements, identify problems and present clear solutions that meet their needs. Your objective is to build strong relationships with customers, share your enthusiasm for 1Password, demonstrate the product to key stakeholders, and guide them through the purchasing process.

What we’re looking for:

  • Proven track record with 3+ years experience in sales, managing a pipeline and maintaining a sales quota. Preference for experience in a SaaS sales environment, but not required.
  • Excellent communication skills via email, Slack, phone, and Zoom – you’re someone who’s comfortable translating technical terms for customers who find technology confusing or intimidating.
  • Personable but persuasive and able to communicate convincingly over the phone and video.
  • Exceptional organizational skills, you’re someone who can develop or follow systems for managing a pipeline of business with often complex sales cycles.
  • You have a data-driven, decision making mentality that allows you to draw insight and tell a compelling story to improve performance and relationships.
  • A knack for learning things on your own and quickly adapting to new environments. When you’re faced with a challenge or something you don’t understand, you’re comfortable to find the right people or resources to solve the problem.
  • Experience using Salesforce.com, Linkedin Sales Navigator and other sales tools is preferred.
  • Team player and collaborator, in this role you will need to work closely with your manager, as well as other teams internally including sales enablement, legal and security
  • It’s a bonus if you have personal experience with 1Password or another password manager. While not required, it’ll help you quickly have confidence in this role.

What you can expect:

  • You will act as the main point of contact for prospective clients interested in evaluating 1Password, you will book discovery sessions, product demonstrations, and communicate via phone and email throughout the entire sales cycle
  • Manage a pipeline of clients, understand decision drivers for each deal, as well as be able to forecast revenue and predicted close date
  • Maintain an up to date record of all communication with clients, including emails, phone calls and next steps
  • Work with various stakeholders within an organization, often including C-Suite Executives, Engineering and Security teams.
  • Be a part of a dynamic team
