The Manager Sales Associates is responsible for leading a team to accelerate sales opportunities through long term opportunity nurture. This position will lead the strategic direction for the team in order to drive opportunities for sales pipeline conversion.

What you will be doing

  • Manage, motivate and lead team members to drive activities for sales pipeline conversion
  • Oversee assigned quarterly targets for opportunity creation and ensure practices are in place to achieve goals
  • Partner closely with global programs and sales teams to ensure smooth, agreed upon transition of opportunities
  • Utilize and educate on best practices regarding opportunity nurturing activities including, but not limited to, relevant industry content and messaging
  • Utilize and update internal systems for day-to-day work to gather intelligence and maintain a complete, accurate view of the prospect’s stage in the sales process
  • Ensure accuracy in pipeline and forecast reporting through CRM
  • Critically and consistently evaluate effectiveness of team efforts; lead process improvement initiatives to develop and innovate the team to align to revenue goals
  • Work with sales leadership on pipeline transition, review, and reengagement
  • Conduct both internal and external training related to best practices for opportunity engagement and nurture
  • Manage individual HR issues, reviews and compensation plans
  • Manage staffing requirements including candidate review, interviewing and hiring process
  • Engage in development of team members to ensure they form a foundation of knowledge and practices that will allow them to advance in their career.

What will make you successful

  • English language fluency is required. Fluency in at least 1 other European language is strongly preferred.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
  • Experience in sales related functions with a B2B software company or SAAS preferred
  • Demonstrated leadership experience
  • Experience mentoring, coaching and training team members
  • Strong analytical, decision making and problem solving skills
  • Strong ability to discuss technology solutions peer-to-peer with industry prospects
  • Present, speak or write with ease, clarity and impact, using a communication style appropriate to the subject and the audience
  • Self-motivated with the ability to manage projects independently to completion
  • Sharp, fast learner with a technology curiosity and aptitude
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate, influence and motivate team members and business partners
  • Able to thrive in a fast paced, deadline driven environment
  • Highly organized and experienced in multi-tasking and time management
  • Ability to provide exceptional follow through and be customer-service driven
  • Strong decision making and problem solving skills
  • Strong proficiency with Microsoft Products (Word, Excel, SharePoint)
  • Up to 10% travel may be required
  • Or an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the principal duties of the job.
